Jill Russo
Jill is a writer and content designer with over 15 years of experience in edtech, media production, and publishing. She’s a professional multi-hyphenate who believes in the power of language to help and inspire people.
Her career
Jill’s recent work includes content design projects at the British Film Institute and writing nonfiction books for kids about science and technology published by Hungry Tomato.
Before that, Jill led the writing team at children’s publishing and edtech company, Mrs Wordsmith. In this role, she collaborated with artists, game designers, and pedagogy experts to develop research-backed, curriculum-aligned books and games that use character-driven storytelling to teach literacy skills and vocabulary.
She has an MSc in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Tufts University, where she also studied film production and development.
